First President of America

On 4th February in year 1789, George Washington became the First President of America. John Adams became the First Vice-President of America.
The present Capital of United States of America (Washington D.C.) is named after him. Washington was declared Capital on July 16, 1790.

अमेरिका का पहला राष्ट्रपति 

04 फरवरी 1789 को जॉर्ज वाशिंगटन अमेरिका के पहले राष्ट्रपति बने और जॉन एडम्स पहले उप-राष्ट्रपति। 
आज सयुंक्त राज्य अमेरिका की राजधानी (वाशिंगटन डी.सी.) उन्ही के नाम से जानी जाती है। 16 जुलाई 1790 को वाशिंगटन को राजधानी घोषित किया  गया था।

First Electric Train in India

On 3rd February in 1925 (During Colonial Rule) the first electric train in India ran between Victoria Terminus (VT) and Kurla on 1,500 VDC overhead traction. 
Cammell Laird manufactured the locomotive for the first electric train.

भारत की पहली इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रैन 

आज के दिन '3 फरवरी 1925' को अंग्रेजी राज में भारत की पहली बिजली से चलने वाली ट्रैन पटरी पर दौड़ी थी। विक्टोरिया टर्मिनल से कुर्ला के बीच इस ट्रैन को चलाया गया था। 
कैमल लैयर ने इस इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रैन के इंजन का निर्माण किया था।

Historical Day For South Africa

The President of South Africa F.W.De Klerk announced the transition of power from Apartheid to Democracy on 2nd Feb in year 1990.
He had also announced release of Nelson Mandela & other Anti Apartheid Organisations.

What was Apartheid?
Apartheid was imposed by Whites in year 1948.
Many fought against the discriminatory regime. But the most notable revolutionary, who struggled for the end to Apartheid was Nelson Mandela.
Nelson Mandela was jailed for 27 years, from 1962 till his release on 11th February 1990.
After the end of Apartheid, Nelson Mandela was sworn as the first Black President of South Africa on 10th of May 1994.
46 years  of discrimination, suppression of Blacks finally came to an end.

दक्षिण अफ्रीका के लिए ऐतिहासिक दिन

2 फरवरी 1990 को दक्षिण अफ्रीका के राष्ट्रपति एफ.डबल्यू.डी.कलर्क ने रंगभेद को समाप्त करने और संवैधानिक लोकतंत्र को फिर स्थापित करने की घोषणा की थी ।
नेल्सन मंडेला और बाकी सारे राजनैतिक केदियों को छोड़ने की भी घोषण की गई ।
फैसला लिया गया की अफ्रीका राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस तथा अन्य रंगभेद के खिलाफ लड़ रहे संगठनो से प्रतिबंध हटा लिया जायेगा ।

रंगभेद क्या था ?
गौरे लोगों ने 1948 में अपना दबदबा दक्षिण अफ्रीका में कायम रखने के लिए जिस दमनकारी नीति को लागू किया उसे रंगभेद के नाम से जाना गया ।
रंगभेद के खिलाफ काफी संधर्ष किया गया, उनमें महान सैनानी नेल्सन मंडेला का नाम सबसे प्रमुख है ।
नेल्सन मंडेला 27 साल जेल में रहे, 1962 में उन्हें गौरी सरकार ने जेल में डाल दिया था, 11 फरवरी 1990 को स्वतंत्रता के लिए लड़ रहे मंडेला को रिहा किया गया ।
रंगभेद समाप्त होने के बाद 11 मई 1994 को नेल्सन मंडेला दक्षिण अफ्रीका के पहले अश्वेत राष्ट्रपति बने और 1999 तक इस पद पर रहे ।
46 साल जो उत्पीड़न, भेदभाव, दमन अश्वेत लोगों पर हुआ, उसका हमेशा के लिए अंत हो गया ।

Columbia Disaster

The most fatal accident in the history of USA space program was the explosion in Columbia space shuttle. On 1st February 2003, the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated the moment it re-entered the atmosphere of the earth. 
All the seven crew members including Indian-born Kalpana Chawla were killed. 
NASA grounded all shuttle operations for 29 months.

कोलंबिया दुर्घटना 

सबसे घातक घटना अमेरिका के अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान में जो घटी वो अंतरिक्ष यान कोलंबिया में हुआ विस्फोट था। 1 फरवरी 2003 को कोलंबिया जब पृथ्वी के वातावरण में प्रवेश कर रहा था, उसी समय एक जोरदार धमाका हुआ। 
कोलंबिया अंतरिक्ष यान में सवार सभी सात क्रू मेंबरस की मृत्यु हो गई थी। मरने वालों में भारतीय मूल की अंतरिक्ष यात्री कल्पना चावला भी थी। 
इस भयानक घटना के बाद नासा ने लगभग 29 महीनों तक सभी अंतरिक्ष यानों के संचालन पर रोक लगा दी थी।

Indian Coast Guard Force was raised on 1st February in year 1977.
The force was raised for maritime security and for keeping our coast's safe. Indian coast guard is Peacetime Maritime Armed Force. 
Protecting the lives, Marine Environment and Endangered Species  is the main work of Indian Coast Guard.

भारतीय तटरक्षक बल 

1 फरवरी को भारतीय तटरक्षक अपना स्वपना दिवस मनाता है। 1 फरवरी 1977 को समुद्री तटों की सुरक्षा के लिए भारतीय तट रक्षक का गठन किया गया था। 
भारतीय तटरक्षक को शांति काल में समुद्र के रक्षक के रूप में पहचाना जाता है। 
समुद्री पर्यावरण तथा समुद्री प्रजातियों की रक्षा करना भारतीय तट रक्षकों का प्रमुख कार्य है।

Big Leap For USA

On 31st January in 1958, United States of America launched its first satellite 'Named Explorer 1'. The satellite was launched into orbit by Jupiter C Rocket. The Explorer-1 remained in orbit till 1970. The successful launch was a big boost for US space program. 
It was the period of cold war between two then superpowers of the world, USA & Soviet Union. The successful launch gave a big opportunity to America to show its strength to rival Soviet Union during cold war (1947-1991).
Cold war was a bloodless battle for supremacy between two superpowers.

अमेरिका की ऊँची छलाँग 

31 जनवरी 1958, सयुंक्त राज्य अमेरिका ने अपना पहला उपग्रह सफलतापूर्वक अंतरिक्ष में स्थापित किया था। इस उपग्रह का नाम एक्स्प्लोरर 1 था। 1970 तक एक्स्प्लोरर 1 अपना काम करता रहा। 
अमेरिका की इस सफलता को शीत युद्ध के दौरान वर्चस्व की लड़ाई जो सोवियत संघ के साथ चल रही थी, उस रूप में एक बड़ी कामयाबी माना गया। 
1942 से 1991 के बीच रक्तहीन युद्ध (शीत युद्ध) तब की दो महा शक्तियों  के बीच दुनिया में प्रभुत्व के लिय लड़ा गया था।

Franklin Roosevelt

Franklin D. Roosevelt was popularly known by his initials FDR. He was born on 30th January, 1882.
FDR was the 32nd President of United States of America. He served as President of USA from 4th March 1933 to 1945. He was a democrat and only American President to serve more than two terms. 
Roosevelt died of cerebral hemorrhage on 12th April 1945.

फ्रैंकलिन रुज़वेल्ट 

फ्रैंकलिन रुज़वेल्ट सयुंक्त राज्य अमेरिका के 32वें राष्ट्रपति थे। 30 जनवरी 1882 को उनका जन्म हुआ था। रुज़वेल्ट 4 मार्च 1933 से 1945 तक अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति रहे। वे अकेले अमरीकी राष्ट्रपति थे जिन्होंने 2 बार से ज्यादा राष्ट्रपति का पद संभाला। उनका रिश्ता डैमोक्रेटिक पार्टी से था। 
12 अप्रैल 1945 को रुज़वेल्ट की सेरेब्रल हेमरेज से मृत्यु हो गई थी।
